Denice Mae "Dede" Bondurant, the youngest child of Jay and Lois Bondurant of Huson, Montana, passed away on September 14, 2024. A proud valedictorian of her graduating class at Frenchtown High School, Dede went on to earn her degree from the University of Alaska, where she forged lifelong friendships. She later obtained her graduate degree from Arizona State University and dedicated her career to the Gila County Probation Department, where she positively impacted many lives in Payson and Globe before retiring.
Dede cherished her retirement at Towerpoint Resort in Mesa, Arizona, where she volunteered extensively and devoted countless hours to the Phoenix Zoo. A passionate traveler, she loved exploring the world with family and friends, creating unforgettable memories along the way.
She is survived by her brother, Bryce (Barbara) of Missoula, Montana; her nieces Becky (Stuart) Crane of Kalispell, Montana, Betsy (Kennet) Bertelsen of Spokane, Washington, and Brittany (Cameron) Milton of Polson, Montana; and her great nieces and nephews, Elsa and Sela Bertelsen, and Bryce and Drew Crane, and Max Milton. Dede had a deep love for animals, especially cats we can't recall a time when there wasn't a cat in her home.
