Barry Richard Boucher passed away on February 24, 2015. He was born in Akron, Ohio on March 7, 1960. After graduating from Stow High School in 1978, he served a year in the army and then moved with his family to Arizona. He went on to get his Bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University and began teaching social studies and coaching track and tennis at Kino Junior High in 1988. While teaching at Kino Junior High, he earned his Master’s Degree from the University of Phoenix. He eventually moved to Smith Junior High where he continued to teach and coach until he retired last year. Barry enjoyed hiking, playing trivia, listening to music and spending time with his family and friends. He was a huge football fan and especially loved the Ohio State Buckeye’s. Barry’s quick wit and charming personality will be sorely missed. He is preceded in death by his father Richard (2014) and his brother Victor (2009). He is survived by his mother Phyllis, sister Lisa (Wane), brother Eric (Andrea), daughters Amanda and Sadie, son Westin, nieces Hannah, Lyndsey and Miranda, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. A celebration of Barry’s life is being planned for April 11, 2015 in Mesa Arizona. Details will be announced at a later date.
