Armin Wayne Edwards

Armin Wayne Edwards, 79, of Mesa, AZ, died October 10, 2022. Armin was born on July 30, 1943, in Algona, Iowa, to Orrin Myron and Dorothy Erma (Batt) Edwards. He graduated from North Platte High School in 1961. Armin married JoAnne Perkins on November 22, 1962, in North Platte, NE. They relocated to Colorado and had one child, Yvette.

Armin worked for Firestone and owned his own store before finding his passion in jewelry. He worked as a jeweler for over 40 years in Nebraska, Colorado, and Arizona, where he developed many long-lasting friendships. Armin enjoyed trap shooting, reading, antiques, and art.

Armin is survived by one child, Yvette Asche-Liffick, of Phoenix, AZ; former spouse, JoAnne (Perkins) Edwards; three grandchildren, Elysia (Kevin) Hudgeons, of Gilbert, AZ, Derek Asche, of Cheyenne, WY, and Courtney (Brendon) Ferrin, of Gilbert, AZ; four sisters, Carol (Lyle) Robinson, Cherie (Colin) Penny, Vickie (Tim) Pleiss and Lori Sprunk; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Orrin and Dorothy Edwards; siblings, Judy Kay Edwards, Larry Dean Edwards and Linda Rudolph.

A Celebration of life will be held on November 30 2022 at 1pm following a reception at 2pm at Mariposa Gardens. In lieu of flowers the Edwards family requests a donation to a local library in his memory.
