Andrea Kay Schultz

Andrea met Allan 67 years ago and have been friends ever since. They married in 1963 and have three sons. Oldest son, Russell and his wife, Mary, have one daughter named Gretchen. Youngest son, Jason, and his wife, Tricia, have two children, Duncan and Jocelyn. Both families reside in Goodyear, Arizona. Middle son, Brian, lives in the family home in Mesa.

Andrea and Allan lived in Michigan for many years before moving to Farmington, New Mexico in 1976, and then to Mesa, Arizona in 1994. They have many dear friends in all three places. Andrea was a member of East Valley Friends and Neighbors. The group has many activities, which Andrea took full advantage of. Andrea enjoyed playing canasta, pinochle, and other games. She was an avid reader of fiction novels, from a wide range of authors, and has an extensive library. With her unique sense of humor, she was entertaining to be with. Andrea was compassionate and loved her family and friends more than they will ever know.

Andrea and Allan enjoyed traveling to visit family and friends and to see the sights. They journeyed on many adventures together to Ireland, South America, Alaska, and throughout the United States. After Allan’s retirement, in 2006, one of their most memorable trips was spending five weeks on the road, throughout 13 states, seeing many places and visiting old friends. Together, they saw it all and did it all, with no regrets. Andrea and Allan loved each other deeply for fifty four years.

Andrea will be missed everyday by all those who knew her. She is now with God, family, and friends in heaven.
