Amy is also survived by her mom, Allene Adella (Harwood) (Clark) Whitehouse and three brothers, David, Bruce and Dennis Clark. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Eugene Campbell and dad, Gail Vernon Clark.
For 30 years Amy worked as an LPN in various geriatric homes. Amy delighted in many avenues of volunteer service. Her compassion for children and the elderly were endless. She could be found in a classroom singing at the piano or gluing glitter on a child’s precious art work. She especially loved her role as “granny”. This was no slow grandma. The day before she passed, she was seen playing badminton with all the school children during recess. She loved and served her church family in many capacities. Most of all, she loved her God.
She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Globe, AZ where she served as the head deaconess, Sabbath school superintendent, pianist and children’s leader. Like those who have gone before her, she now waits for the second coming of Jesus, her friend and Savior. She leaves behind a life that was a shining example of love and service to others.
A viewing will be held for family and friends at Melcher’s Mortuary Mission Chapel, 6625 E.
