Mary Alice Booth Brown, 79, of Bailey, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 30, 2016, at her residence. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and a retired restaurant owner who loved working in her yard.
Funeral services will be held Monday, May 2, 2016, at 1 p.m. in Stephens Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Jackie White officiating. Burial will follow in Gum Log Cemetery.
Survivors include her children: Janice Mitchell of Meridian, Victor Booth (Sheila) of Meridian and Pam Benton (George) of Quitman; six grandchildren: Clay Booth, Kimberly Booth, Paxton Smith, Jessica Smith, Ben Ivy (Brooke) and Brandy Plamondon (Jason); five great-grandchildren: Emma Ivy, Raylee Ivy, Addisyn Clair Smith, Kaysen Smith and Isabella Plamondon; two sisters: Vista Bailey of Dawson
Ala., and Joyce Catlett of Moss Point; and a sister-in-law, Sandra Edmonds of Silver Creek.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, James C. Booth Jr. and Robert L. "Bobby" Brown Sr.; daughter, Betty Jean Booth; and brother, Frank Edmonds.
Pallbearers will be Clay Booth, Paxton Smith, Ben Ivy, George Benton, Jason Plamondon and Greg Edmonds.
Visitation will begin Monday, from at 11 a.m. until service time, at the funeral home.
