Vincent Leon Banaga was born August 2, 1942 and passed away at age 82 on Friday, October 4, 2024. Vincent was a long time resident of Planada, California. He was retired from Pacific Bell for over 35 years. He served in the United States Army and attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Planada, California.
Vincent is survived by his wife Maria Banaga, his children Vincent Ybarra Banaga, Ruben Ybarra Banaga, Olivia Banaga Barajas and Caroline Banaga Madrigal, his sister Irene Menchaca and seven grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by Angel Banaga, Victoria Banaga, Gilbert Banaga, Esther Vega, Alice Buendia and Beatrice Guevara.
Vincent enjoyed spending time with family, listening to mariachi music, watching sports and loved his sweets.
A visitation for Vincent will be held Tuesday, October 22, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, following with a funeral service at 1490 B Street, Merced, CA 953416304. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at 12:15 PM at Plainsburg Cemetery, 8943 Gillette Ave, Merced, CA 95341.
