Rose Marie Fuentes was born on September 29, 1955 to parents Fidela Ramirez and Juan T. Montoya in Roswell, New Mexico. Rose has passed away at the age of 68 on April 28, 2023 at her home in Merced, California. She worked as a prison counselor for 9 years and was a board member for Merced First Assembly of God Church in Merced, California. Rose is survived by her Children Arthur Fuentes Jr., Marcie Fuentes, Catrina Fuentes and Naomi Fuentes all of Merced, California; brother Billy Joe Montoya (Roswell, New Mexico); Sisters Mary Hope Zepeda (Planada, California), Dorothy Carrasco (Le Grand, California), Jeannie Montoya (Merced, California); seven Grandchildren and two Great Grandchildren. Rose is preceded in death by her husband Arturo A. Fuentes Sr. (Merced, California); Brothers Roy Dominguez (Merced, California) and David Dominguez (South Carolina); Mother Fidela Ramirez and Father Juan T. Montoya. There will be a Celebration of Life on May 20, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Merced First Assembly of God in Merced, California following with a reception.
