Pablo Rodriguez Jr.

Pablo Rodriguez Jr. spent his younger years in Texas and Graduated from Banquete High school, class of 1957. Pablo worked in the fields with his family in a variety of places. He moved to California in 1961 when he started working for Bennett Ranch. Pablo then met the love of his life, Carolina, and were married in 1962. Pablo and Carolina were married for 57 wonderful years and had four children together. They lived in Dos Palos, California for 44 years then moved to Merced, California in 2006. Pablo was a hard-working husband and father. He retired January of 2020. Pablo was a ranch manager for Iyer Farms (1997-2020), Munco Farms and Buffington and Bennett Ranch. He attended Christian Life Center in Merced and Home Church in Chowchilla.

Pablo is preceded in death by his parents, Pablo and Alicia Rodriguez; daughter, Evelyn Rodriguez Montez; grandson, David Montez Jr; sister, Oralia Perez; brothers, Antonio Rodriguez and Abel Rodriguez Sr.

He is survived by his wife, Carolina Rodriguez of Merced, Ca.; his children, Linda Rodriguez Castro of Modesto, Ca., Fred Rodriguez of Dos Palos, Ca. and Christina Isabel Aguero of Lake Stevens, Wa.; his sisters, Odilia “Lily” Lopez, Olga Ortiz, Olivia Gaitan and Ofilia Gonzalez, all from Texas; his grandchildren, Monica Marie Santana of Chowchilla, Ca., Evan James Montez of Chowchilla, Ca, Manuel Castro Jr. of Los Banos, Ca., Jason Castro of Dos Palos, Ca., Phylicia Garcia of Merced, Ca., Pablo L. Rodriguez of Merced, Ca., Angelica Carolyne Aguero., Ruben Aguero III, Cristian Isaiah Aguero, Andrew Paul Aguero and Ava Raelyn Aguero, all from Lake Stevens, Wa. His great grandchildren, Savannah Cabrera, Rudy David Santana Jr., Marina Santana all from Chowchilla, Ca., Ahniah and Jahziah Castro of Los Banos, Ca., Maribel and Penelope Castro of Dos Palos, Ca., Gracelynn and Elizabeth Galindo of Merced, Ca., David Mathew Montez of Chowchilla, Ca., Evangelina and Annabelle Rodriguez of Gilroy, Ca.

Due to Merced County Covid-19 regulations, services will be private. The family is requesting that flowers may be sent to Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home located on 1490 B Street, Merced, Ca.
