He grew up in Palmdale CA. where he graduated High School. He attended Merced College where he received his small business degree. Ken was a professional painter for 45 years and his clients became like a large business family, including UC Merced. He had a gift of turning something old into new again.
Everyone who knew Ken would use the word kind and generous to describe him. He was a friend to all. Ken belonged to the Gateway A’s for many years, and was a member of YMI. He enjoyed cooking for various functions and he was also a collector of antiques.
Ken is survived by his wife of 39 years, Connie, his three daughters, Tai Saldivar (Juan), Tawny Vereschagin (DJ), and Taylor, and his two grandchildren Rory Vereschagin and Jayce Saldivar.
Services will be held on Friday, December 9th at 11:00 A.M. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home located at 1490 B street Merced, California 95341.
