Jacqueline (Jackie) Delores Fullerton was born on March 10, 1940 in Wisconsin to Chauncey and Delores Wilmot and she passed away on February 18, 2017 in Merced County where she was a resident for 50 years.
Jackie worked in customer service for 40 years but she took pride in being a housewife, mother and grandmother.
Jackie will be remembered for her love of music, dancing, and also for her classy attire. Her family will also remember her for her loving support of them and her “visits” that lasted into the early morning hours. She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren for her never ending love, chasing them around the house, and playing the card game Crazy 8’s with them.
Jacqueline is preceded in death by her Husband, Norman E. Fullerton; parents, Chauncey and Delores Wilmot and her brothers, Dewayn Wilmot and Gary Wilmot.
She is survived by her sons, Todd Bobiendrier (Tammy), Tom Fullerton (Brenda); daughter, Tammy Hamsher (Leroy); brother, Shawn Wilmot; sisters, Joy Ross, Sandy Knutson, Mary Jo Jakubik, 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Monday, February 27, 2017 from 10:00am-11:00am with funeral services starting immediately after at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home located at 1490 B Street, Merced, California. Internment will take place at 12:00pm at Evergreen Memorial Park, with refreshments to be served following burial at Stratford Evans Hall.
Jackie was an amazing person who touched the lives of many people. She never met a stranger that she wouldn’t talk to for as long as they would listen. While she will be dearly missed, the fond memories of her will overshadow grief.
