Agatha Cauble Ewing arrived at the gates of Heaven on April 1, 2025, at the age of 95. She was born in Oklahoma on December 7, 1929. She grew up in Texas but lived the remainder of her life in the San Joaquin Valley of California.
She goes to meet loved ones who have gone before her. Her parents; Van Monroe Cauble and Carrie Elizabeth Clevenger Storey, sisters; Wanda Cauble Byler, LaVern Cauble Becker, Delores Cauble Bitner, Vannie Elaine Cauble, and a brother Donald Wayne Cauble.
Making each of the following feel like her favorite: her son Joe David and wife Ann Ewing , and daughters Carolyn Ewing Lee and husband Eddie Lee, Joyce Ewing Hunt and husband Ron Hunt, Sharon Marie Ewing, Donna Ewing Ehde. She leaves nine beloved grandchildren, fourteen great -grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. And our extended family member and faithful friend of 55 years, Helen Herrera.
Intimately acquainted with hard times and hard work, Agatha picked cotton, packed peaches, drove buses, and worked her way up from file clerk to an Executive for Farmers Insurance.
She was a mentor to many, a world traveler and a keeper of secrets. When she purchased her home it became a refuge and a landing place for all. She valued people and found pure joy in her family. Her life was guided by Jesus and her blueprint the Bible, never preaching but by being a living example of her faith.
Our loss is Heaven’s gain and we can hear it now: “Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.” Matthew 25:23
