Robert John Koser

Robert John Koser, age 85, formerly of Neenah, passed away Monday, January 2, 2012 at Prairie Home Assisted Living in Menasha. Bob was born November 21, 1926 in Neenah, the son of Albert and Lillian (Thielen) Koser.

Bob had been a lifelong resident of Neenah, member since inception of St Gabriel’s Catholic Church and lone survivor and Charter Member of the Fox Valley Beagle Club. He enjoyed raising beagles, baking and fishing.

Bob is lovingly survived by his wife, Marianne Koser, Menasha; son, Stuart (Julie) Koser; daughter, Deb (Steve) Thompson; son, Jeff (Patricia) Koser; daughter, Cheryl Andersen (special friend John Vandehey); son, Gerry (Nela) Koser; 12 grandchildren; Elizabeth, Sarah, Alanna, Craig, Mike, Sheri, Chad, Jeni, Jessica, Natalie, John and Kristine and a great grandchild, Tucker.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and sisters: Jean Mason and Lois Martin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 900 Geiger Street, Neenah, with Fr. Larry Seidl officiating. Friends will be received for visitation on Monday, January 9, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a prayer service being held at 7:00 p.m. at the Martens-Laemmrich Funeral Home, 312 Milwaukee Street, Menasha. Visitation will continue on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
