William "Clay" Clarence Hyde Jr., age 54, of Germantown, Tennessee passed away at home on Friday, April 14, 2023 from heart failure.
Clay was born in Memphis, Tennessee on April 24, 1968 to William Hyde Sr. and Roxie Ann Hyde. He graduated from Germantown High School in 1986 and continued his education in Carbondale, Illinois at Southern Illinois University receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology in 1993. He finished his education by obtaining a Master's Degree in Health Care Management in 2012.
Throughout his working career Clay's employers included Lakeside Hospital and Federal Express. He was a member of The Mankind Project USA, a men's organization promoting self improvement.
Along with his mother, Clay is survived by his brother Roy Hyde of Batesville, Mississippi; sister Traci McCormick of Harrison, Arkansas; two aunts Susan Stuart of Memphis and Sylvia Stuart of Brevard, North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.
