William Bryan “Bill” Clark, 86, lifelong Memphian, died November 30, 2011 at Methodist University Hospital. His family will receive guests and friends on Friday, December 2 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and funeral services will be Saturday, December 3 beginning at 2:00 p.m. all at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens on Poplar Avenue. The funeral service will be officiated by Rev. Norlita Kaul and will conclude with military honors. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. A graduate of Central High School, Mr. Clark was a WWII Army Veteran, retired printer for the Memphis Publishing Co., member of the Memphis Typographical Union #11, Memphis Publishing Co. Twenty-Five Year Club, and the National Geographic Society. He is survived by his cousin Jean Waterbury and many other relatives and friends who all thought he was the kindest, gentlest man they knew who put everybody before himself.
