Wilda Inez White was born in Hornsby, TN on October 16, 1930. She was the oldest of 5 children. Her parents were Everett and Bertha McClintock. Most of her elementary and high school years were spent in Hornsby, until she graduated from Bolivar High School. She married Robert Lee White in June, 1954.
Mrs. White received her nursing degrees from St. Joseph’s School of Nursing and Sienna College in Memphis, TN. She worked as a nurse for the Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Memphis, and the Visiting Nurses’ Association. She finished her nursing career, and retired from the VA Hospital. She was a member of Colonial United Methodist Church in Memphis TN.
Wilda White is survived by her brother, Royce McClintock, two sons, Robert Michael White and Glenn Lee White, Daughter-in-laws, Lynette Rose and Leslie Michelle, six grandchildren, Steven Michael, Robert Christopher, Krystle C. Vann, Donald Lee, Glenn Lee, Ashley Paige, and eight great grandchildren.
