Walter Charles Carroll, III

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Catholic Church of the Incarnation, 360 Bray Station Road, Collierville. Funeral mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is at 9:00 a.m., one hour prior to mass.

Mr. Carroll was born in Memphis to Walter and Loretta Carroll on November 8, 1951. He graduated from Kingsbury High School in 1969. He went on to become an HVAC (Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning) after attending William R. Moore Technical School. Mr. Carroll worked for FedEx for 30 years as a Senior HVAC mechanic. He enjoyed golfing, football, and the outdoors.

Mr. Carroll is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Loretta Carroll, and sister Marjorie Morton of Highland, IL. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Carroll of Collierville, TN, step- daughters Lura Odden of Collierville, Amanda Anderson of Olive Branch, MS and step-son Scott Odden of Memphis, TN., and brother Monte Carroll of Nashville, TN., and six grandchildren, Logan, Sam, Noah and Zach Anderson, Tristen Moyer and Hannah Adams.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Catholic Church of the Incarnation, 360 Bray Station Road, Collierville, TN 38017.
