Virginia Louise Roberson

Mrs. Virginia Louise Roberson (née Davis) passed away peacefully on February 16, 2018 in Memphis, TN at the age of 81. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, one sister, three brothers, and her parents.

Virginia was born on February 17, 1936 in New Albany, MS to Lois and Lou Davis. She married Charles Ernest Roberson in 1954. The couple welcomed Gary Lee in 1955, and Charles Barry in 1957.

Virginia loved her family immensely, enjoyed reading books, going to church, and visiting with friends. She was an active and dedicated member of Highland Heights Presbyterian Church in Memphis, TN.

Virginia is survived by her grandchildren; Marie Schroeder (Chris) of Memphis, TN, Michael Roberson (Theresa), Amanda Leija (Brad), Holly Chamley (Ben) and Melissa Roberson, brother Milton Davis (Naomi) of Ripley, MS; and three great-grandchildren, Lucy, Luke, and Annabel, all of Memphis, TN.

Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Monday, February 19, 2018 at Highland Heights Presbyterian Church with service to follow at 11 a.m. A reception at the church will follow services. Burial will be held at Glenfield Cemetery in New Albany, MS. following reception.
