Vicki Smith Price

Vicki Smith Price, 75, passed away at her home November 27, 2018. She was an avid floral gardener with an affinity for daylilies. She was a longtime member of Bellevue Baptist Church, where she and her husband taught third grade bible studies, she retired from Briarcrest Christian School with 37 years of service. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Dr. J Paul Price; daughter, Barbra (Carl) Bedwell; son, Daniel (Tamara) Price; grandchildren, Morgan Baine, David Baine, Hunter Bedwell and John Foster Price; one great-grandson, James Swallow; adopted grand-daughter Rachel Booker; sister, Betty Hartje; brothers, James (Beverly) Smith, Wes (Polly) Smith and Robert (Kay) Smith, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends and acquaintances at Briarcrest Christian School.

The family will receive friends on Thursday November 29, 2018 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.; funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday November 30; all at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis.
