Susan Langston Curry

She was preceded in death by her father Ralph Langston, and her mother, Peggy Langston.

She is survived by her brother, Earl Lee, and sister, Karen Sparks. Her husband James Curry, daughter Kaitlin Tice (Josh), and Amber Braswell (Brian). Grandchildren, Grayson Tice, Arizona Tice, Zayn Tice, and Eleanor Tice. Susan considered her niece, Ragan Oliver, a bonus daughter, and her son, Revan Oliver, her bonus grandson.

Susan had been married to James for 30 years. She was a longtime member of Colonial Park United Methodist Church. She loved and was loved by her family, friends, and her church family. She fought Multiple Sclerosis for over 20 years. It ended her career in retail. Despite her medical challenges, Susan kept a positive outlook and a cheerful attitude, which led to her newfound love of art and nature.

We are honoring Susan's request to have her body cremated. There will be a visitation at 10 am and a celebration of life service to follow at 11 am this Friday, December 15. It will take place at Colonial Park UMC.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, you donate to the church, designated to the Accelerate Fund. These funds go towards the updates and improvements of Colonial Park. A place Susan loved with all her heart.
