My Nephew,                                                                              I’m so sorry that you had to go so soon but most of all I didn’t get say Love you or good bye. Going to miss getting those messages from you. I wish that we knew that you were sick but again that didn’t happen. You were always good to me and I’ll never forget those big hugs. I know you were tried and restless but now you can be pain free. Rest well and take care of everyone until I see you again......................,,         You will always be in my ❤️. Dear Cousin,

My heart is so heavy knowing you are no longer with us :( I wish we would've known more about your health, your situations, and life overall to be able to help you while you were here. Family is so important and of course ours is a little broken right now. I pray that we all come back together and love on each other while we are still here. Rest well cousin. Give GrandMa, Granddad, and Uncle Howard lots of hugs for me.

First Cousin

Rodney was and will always be my baby.  He was more than a cousin that I babysat and loved.  He was the child hero of West Memphis’s deadliest tornado storm in December, 1987.   His persistence of saving his family’s life with the help of first responders spared the lives of his mother and brother as they lie trapped under the remnants and debris of the destruction of the apartment/townhome where they resided.   Rodney didn’t let them give up finding his mom and baby brother as half of the city  lie in state, destroyed by such a horrific storm.  I remember him saying, “a big hand lifted me up out of my bed and sat me down  outside by the playground of the school.  All I I saw was the apartments blowing up and everything fell down!  I was scared but I had to save Mama and Justin!”  At just 6 years old, Rodney was deemed a hero & he shall remain just that.  I love you my Steelers cuzzo and partner.  May you rest in perfect peace!  ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
