Rawley Hughes Cain, 77, entered the gates of heaven Wednesday, June 29th. Rawley worked as a devoted sales representative for Curtis 1000 and as a buyer for Flavorite Labs for many years. He was currently a faithful member of LaBelle Haven Baptist Church and served as a decan for 40 years. Rawley was a founding member of the Delta Blue Bluegrass Gospel Music Band and was inducted into the Memphis Amateur Sports Hall of Fame. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Jean , their two daughters Christy Young (Rodney) and Candy Pollan (Randy), his brothers Stennis (Betty), Richard (Barbra), and Marcus (Linda), grandchildren Lacey Weaver (Taylor), Savannah Young, Zack Pollen, and one great granddaughter Lyla Weaver and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Rawley is preceded in death by his parents J.N Cain Sr. and Ada Belle, two brothers J.N Jr. and Neal, and his sister Rachel Boydston. A gathering and catered reception will be held Saturday, July 2 at Memphis Funeral Home in the Life Remembrance center from 12:00 pm til 2:00pm with a service to follow. In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Rawley may be offered to the Memphis Union Mission.
