Rachel Lucille Embrey, age 91, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023. She was born July 19, 1931, in Dyer, Tennessee, to Willie B. Raines and Rosie Lee Raines.

She was a retired Bookkeeper from Waterways Marine and Southern Towing. She was member of Leawood Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Charlie D. Embrey; two daughters, Lee Lucchesi and Gay Embrey (Rick Tobias); three grandchildren, Angelo Lucchesi Jr., Gabrielle Prewitt (Julian), and Rachel Sanford (Mark); six great-grandchildren, Embrey, Sutton, Jones, Stiles, Raines, and Alina.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, May 24 at 2:00 PM, at Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh Lagrange Road, Memphis, Tennessee 38134.
