Peggy was a real estate agent in Memphis for 30 years, working at Heritage Homes and Crye-Leike. She and George were very active in the Raleigh Community Council and the Local 474 IBEW Retirees Club. They enjoyed traveling and arranged several trips for the retirees. Peggy was artistic and enjoyed painting in oils, having taken lessons from various local Memphis artists. She also enjoyed dancing and listening to all kinds of music. She had been an active member of First United/Peace Lutheran Church in Memphis and St. Luke Lutheran Church in Cordova. Peggy had a sweet disposition and was loved by many. She will be greatly missed.
.A visitation for Peggy will be held Friday, November 13 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119. The funeral service will be held Saturday, November 14 at 10:00 AM and friends are welcome to arrive around 9:00 AM to spend some more time with the family. A graveside service will follow the service in Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh Lagrange Road, Memphis, TN 38134.
Family and friends who are feeling healthy are invited to gather, with physical distancing, for the visitation, funeral service, and/or graveside service; masks are required.
