Paul Edwin Bonar was called home at age 71 on December 25th, 2021. He was born on January 14, 1950 in Wheeling, West Virginia to Robert and Rose Bonar. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Karen Bonar; his daughters Kristi Privett (Kelly) and Cheryl Condo; stepson Bill Shoffner (Alisha); grandchildren Kieran Brock (Emily), Katyana Shoffner, Kayla Shoffner, Christian Condo; and great grandchildren Cooper Doyle, Avery Brock, Caleb Harder, Kaiden Brock, Ivy Brock. Paul was preceded in death by his father and mother; brother, Richard Bonar; and son in law, Casey Condo.
Paul was a quiet man who enjoyed the simple things in life. He was a devoted husband and father who always worked hard to provide for his family. Paul had a generous and giving spirit that showed most when he was on vacation. He had a great love for family vacations and the road trips to get to those destinations. He was a lover of sports, especially his Memphis Tigers, Boston Red Sox and Buffalo Bills. Even though his spoken words may have been few, he had a passion for the written word. Paul was intelligent with a quick, dry wit and enjoyed writing poetry.
