Nancy Anne Davis

Mrs. Nancy Anne Davis age 90, formerly of Memphis, TN passed away peacefully Monday August 29th at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home, Sauk Rapids, MN after a brief time in hospice. She was born February 22, 1932 to Colan Lewis Doerr and Annie Laura Wood at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Memphis, TN.

A life long resident of Memphis, Nancy enjoyed spending time reading, cooking, dancing and traveling. She spent many years as active member of the Good Sam’s Camping Club. She and her late husband Oscar (Ray) also took several cruises and visited Germany and Eastern Europe.

Nancy is survived by her son Raymond Paul (Lori) Davis of St Cloud, MN. Nephews Larry (Gina) Doerr Jr, Bartlett, TN, Steve (Karen) Doerr, niece Janie Doerr Lewis, both of central TN., numerous cousins, and great nieces and nephews. She is preceded by her husband of 56 years Oscar Ray Davis, sister Jane Doerr Holcomb, brothers Larry and Kenneth Doerr. Visitation is from 1-2pm followed by an intimate service will be held Saturday September 3rd at Family Funeral Care. Internment will be at West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery.
