Mary was born March 10, 1957 in Memphis, Tennessee, daughter of the late George & Jimmy Partin. She was a life long Memphian.
Mary Elizabeth graduated from St. Mary’s Episcopal School and the University of Mississippi. She was employed by the IRS as a Taxpayer Advocate until retiring in 2013. Mary Elizabeth loved to spend time with family and friends which gave her great joy. She will truly be missed.
Mary is survived by 3 aunts: Joan Bailey of Crowder, MS; Carole White of Batesville, MS, Charlene Card of Cordova, TN and many, many cousins.
A gathering for family and friends will be held Wednesday, September 29, 2021 beginning at nine o'clock in the morning until funeral services begin at ten o'clock all at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee 38119. Following the burial, a reception for family and friends will occur in the LIfe Remembrance Center of Memphis Funeral Home.
