Martha Dupuy Stanley, age 92, passed away August 20, 2019. Martha was born August 13, 1927 to Mr. Ed Dupuy and Mrs. Jessie Dupuy in Smithville, Mississippi. She was raised in Memphis, Tennessee and Graduated from Humes High School in 1945. After high school, Martha resided in Memphis and was a lifelong resident of the city. After a long career, Martha retired from General Motors Acceptance Corporation on December 1, 1979. Martha enjoyed spending time with her family, travelling, fishing, and she spent most of her time after retirement at her lake house in Tunica, Mississippi.
Martha is survived by her Daughter, Linda Stanley Kingsford, Son-in-Law, Scott C. Kingsford, Grand-Daughter, Alexandra K. Wright, Grand Son-in-law, Ethan R. Wright, and the love of her life, David R. Goodman.
Friends and Family are invited to gather at 1pm Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel, 5599 Poplar Ave Memphis, Tennessee 38119, for a visitation with the funeral service to follow at 2pm.
