Madison Ann Douglas, 23, of Memphis, TN entered the arms of Jesus on Saturday, September 14 at 10:15 pm. She was born May 27, 2001 on Memorial Day at Methodist North Hospital in Memphis where she also passed. Her life has always been a celebration.
Maddie had a very creative personality. She spent her free time enjoying design and fashion. She could apply makeup like no other. Maddie loved to draw, it was a coping mechanism for her anxiety, it is where she felt most at ease. Most importantly she loved being a mother to KayLoni Rose more than life itself. Her days were spent dedicated to KayLoni’s fashion too. It gave her tremendous pleasure dressing her and putting bows in her hair.
Madison is survived by her daughter KayLoni Rose Jackson; her mother, Dana Joyner of Brighton, TN; her sister Danielle Joyner (Wesley Cullum), brothers Wesley Joyner and Dalton Douglas; As well as her father, David Douglas. She was an aunt to Easton, Fletcher, and Briggs. She leaves behind her Pappoo, Jimmy Clements, Grandma, Pat Clements and her Granddaddy, Elton Douglas. Madison is preceded in death by her Grand Momma, Nell Douglas.
