Lucille Elizabeth Wright Farley, 91, passed away at her home Thursday, February 24, 2011. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 27 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and service 10 a.m. Monday, February 28 all at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, Poplar Avenue. Burial will follow at Memphis Memory Gardens. Mrs. Farley, the widow of Harold Farley, Sr., was a member of the Lamar Heights Baptist Church and later Cherry Road Baptist Church. She was also President of the PTA, member of the Order of Eastern Star, and avid Bunco Player in her Bunco Club. Mrs. Farley, who was affectionately known as “Minna”, was married for 62 years. She is survived by her children Peggy Coletta, Patricia Gentry (Charlie), and Harold Farley, Jr.; sisters Jean Cicalla and Marguerita Garrett; 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
