He is survived by his children Heide Huff & Cole Glover, his wife of 37 years, Deborah Glover and his siblings Kenny Glover and Camellia Jones.
Larry was preceded by his parents, James and Ruth Glover and his eldest son, Tex Virnig.
Larry had 9 grandchildren, Memphis Virnig, Summer Virnig, Autumn Glover, Brook Virning, Meadow Virning, Benjamin Huff, Winston Glover, Violet Huff & Rosalie Glover.
Larry never missed a photo opportunity with his friends and family. He was an avid Harley Davison enthusiast. Larry served our National for 38 years in the Amy , National Guard , then the Air Force . He also served our country 22 years as Correctional officer for the Bureau of prisons. He was the oldest of three siblings and was always protecting Kenny and Camelia . Larry loved to make trouble with his best friend John Sides until he joined the Army in 1973. After serving in Germany for two years he returned home to Memphis and Met Deborah when he gave his heart to Jesus and Joined the Church of Maranatha. Larry and Deborah served as missionaries in Holland where Heide was born. Larry made friends everywhere he went and was constantly being of service to his friends and family. He truly would give you his shirt off his back. He will be held close in the hearts of all his children, grandchildren, family, and friends.
The family will receive friends on, Saturday, November 20 from 1:00 to 2:00pm with the service Honoring His Life to begin at 2:00 at Memphis Funeral Home on Poplar Ave. Committal service will be held at West Tennessee Veterans cemetery.
