Kathy Jean Thompson, age 56, of Memphis, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020. Kathy was born in Garden Grove, CA on February 14, 1964. She was preceded in death by mother, Sharon Tucker; her infant daughter, Mikayla; her brother, Ed King and her sister, Linda Crawley.
Kathy was active duty in the United States Navy but finished in the Naval Reserves. She also taught the MA Program in Dallas Texas and ran several medical clinics within the Dallas Area. Kathy cared for her mother and brother prior to their deaths. She received her Bachelors degree in Nursing because of her passion to help and care for others.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Brian Thompson; sons, Brian Patrick Thompson and Malaki Richards; sisters, Terry (Randy) Bonds of Memphis, TN and Connie Beadel of Pleasant Hill, Missouri; step-mother, Shirley Tucker of Memphis, TN; many nephews, nieces, and friends.
Kathy's celebration of life services will begin with a visitation on Friday, October 9, 2020 from 12 noon until 2pm with services to follow at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Avenue, Memphis, TN 38122.
