Judy Lorene Reed, age 75, of Germantown, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022. She was born on April 23, 1947 to the late Bettie Jane Peyton Reed and Cordie Earl Reed Jr. Judy graduated from Memphis Central High School in 1965. She then spent over 30 years as a nurse at Methodist Central Hospital. She was a member at Covenant Baptist Church in Collierville.
Judy leaves behind her brother, Joseph Reed (Angie) from Cordova, TN; her sister, Debbie Bruns (Jon) from St. Charles, MO; her nephews, Scott Reed (Brittany), Kevin Reed (Karen), Christopher Bruns (Rachel), Adam Bruns-Trukhin (Ivan); her five great-nieces; and one great-nephew all of whom she loved like her own children. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Services for Judy will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at Memphis Funeral Home at 5599 Poplar Avenue in Memphis beginning at 2:00PM. The visitation will begin at 1:00PM. Following the service, the burial will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery at 5668 Poplar Avenue in Memphis.
