Johnny Gaston Weaver

Johnny Gaston Weaver, age 84, of Germantown, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022. He was born in Golden Lake, AR on October 28,1938. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Frances Weaver and his daughter, Deborah Lynn McElroy.

Johnny was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was a faithful member and greeter at Crossroad Baptist Church. Johnny loved his family more than anything. He spent a lot of time with family, playing cards with his wife and working in his woodshop making toy trains. His grandchildren referred to him by many names such as papa, pop, uncle papa and stick people. Johnny's favorite dish was spaghetti with meat sauce. He was always telling jokes. Those who knew him loved his kind spirit and loving ways. He will be sorely missed.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 61 years, Patricia Weaver; his grandchildren, John Chad McElroy and Melissa Nicole Harper; his great grandchildren, Alia McElroy, Declan McElroy and Kayden Brown; his church family, other family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 10, 2022 from 12 noon until 2pm with memorial services to follow at Crossroads Baptist Church, 125 South Houston Levee, Eads, TN 38028.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Mid-South Transplant Foundation 8001 Centerview Parkway suite 302, Cordova TN 38018.
