Johnnie Ernest Brooks, age 94, of Memphis, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022. He was a hard worker who enjoyed watching movies, working out and riding motorcycles. Mr. Brooks was a veteran of the United States Navy and retired from ICG railroad.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Johnnie Brooks, Jr.
He is survived by a son, Tommy Brooks; grandchildren, Tommy Brooks, Jr., Johnny Brooks and Earl Cody Brooks and three great-grandchildren.
A committal service for Mr. Brooks will be held Friday, February 18, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 4000 Forest Hill Irene, Memphis, TN 38125.
