As a child some of John’s fondest memories were riding pigs and cows. John’s face would always light up when he would see his wife’s face. They were married for 65 years and John’s family has always been his top priority and he provided and protected his family. He has always been so proud of his children and grandchildren’s accomplishments. Some of his accomplishments include being a Cub Scout Master to his sons, as well as a Boy Scout leader. He loved coaching his son’s sports teams and going to father-daughter dances with his daughter. John served in the US Army as a Staff Sergeant In Supply. He was also a part of the Men’s Organizations with St. Anne’s Highland, Holy Rosary and St. Louis Catholic Churches. He was a member and 4th Degree Knight of the 4312 Council Knights of Columbus.
John was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters. He is survived by his children, Lisa May Temple, John A. May Jr.(Angie), and Matthew A. May; grandchildren, Robert L. Temple, A.J. Temple, Johnny May, Aaron May and Catherine May.
