On Thursday, December 28th, 2017, Jackie Lee Davis, husband, father, grandfather, brother, passed away at the age of 79 years just one day after we celebrated his birthday. Jack will be remembered by his wife Karen, his daughter Beth and her husband Jon, his mother in-law Dillon and his grandchildren, Abigail, Lola and Max. Jack will also be remembered by so many of his golfing buddies and good friends.
Jack served in the United States Navy as an Aviation Machinist’s Mate for 20 years, retiring in 1982 as Senior Chief Petty Officer. Not one to actually retire at such a young age, Jack went into the shoe business and married Karen. Finally retiring for good in 2001, Jack honed his skills on the golf course and was the best husband, father and grandfather anyone could ever ask for.
A celebration of Jack’s life will be held on Tuesday, January 9th, from 6pm to 8pm at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119.
Memorial donation in memory of Jack may be made to the American Cancer Society.
