My Brother Horace Hill IV was the first born to our family unit and being first he lead by integrity & example to me he was a great example of GODLY...integrity  there are so many outstanding memories that I have in my heart that will never die but more than anything he was a giver not just of money but of his time, compassion, and wisdom and always ready to listen and assist in any way that he could you will be forever missed big brother but never forgotten I salute you brother with one of your favorite scriptures Isaiah 58:14 I remember when you told me about honoring the sabbath & your teachings go on and on until we meet again I know GOD...has already welcomed you home I know your spirit is at peace & rest this is what the LORD...has said to you Matthew 25:21 
I shall forever love ❤ my big brother of great substance even in your transitioning GOD honored you no matter how it seemed he assured me that you were with him and I say amen & hallelujah so long big brother I will see u again & I will forever love you your third sister Apostle Marva Lynn Hill-Grayson 

My brother, Minister Horace Hill III, was an upright man in all of his ways.  Just like Psalms 1: 1-3.  He left us way to soon.  
But my memories continue to bless me.  

I thank God for an awesome big brother in my life who believed in sharing and helping which was all the time, I often think of things we tried to do together and even my husband and I came to Memphis and spent days and even a week with him, he was very hospitable to us both and  he made sure that we were taken care of while we visited as I said before he told me many things like What would you have done Tricia! He somewhat reminded me of my mama and looked like her as well....and the great news is Thank 
God for Joseph who does favored him a lot, his only heir and looks just like him, keep rising to the top, from baby sis to big bro #1 star and Joseph...his shining star and thanks for making your daddy proud...kisses & hugs. 


My beloved big brother Horace...my favorite. You will be sorely missed and I will cherish our time together forever. You were mother's joy and dad's honor; they loved you SO much; and they were proud of you. You were the best brother to your siblings and you were a 'great' role model for us.  You were a good father to your son Joseph and a wonderful God fearing christian man. I will miss our phone calls and daily conversations about this and that and everything else. I will miss shopping with you via the internet and nine hours between us. I will miss cooking for you and watching you enjoy it. I will miss cooking you that 'coconut chess' pie that you so loved. I will miss you coming home for Christmas. I will miss your beautiful voice and that smile of yours that lit up the room. I will miss our dialogue and late night conversations our early morning text messages and prayers. I will miss seeing your beautiful face. You were so modest and much more than you would ever admit. You were my true brother and I loved you SO much. Thank you for marrying Kemp & I. You were always one of the smartest in the room but the integrity you had would never admit it. You are more than I could ever express here...but my beloved big Brother know this I LOVE you and will MISS you forever...but I will never forget. Soar with Jesus. 

Horace, (as we knew him) was Outstanding as a Classmate. I describe him as Outstanding, because he was Always Smiling, Always Dressed Up, Usually had his signature Bow Tie on, Always Friendly (even though Quiet), Always the Light in the Crowd.
I never saw him angry, rude, upset or any of those negative emotions. No matter how his day was going, he shared his Kind Smile with Everyone. He was Genuine, Kind, Pleasant to all he met. We were blessed to know him, as he influenced so many (even though we may not have realized it at the time)
Rest in Heaven Horace, your Gracious, Humble Demeanor was Appreciated and you will be Missed.
God, Comfort and Strengthen his Family as they Grieve. 

Horace was such a quiet, nice classmate, and I know he comes from a wonderful, loving family. Love and blessings on Linda, Marilyn, and all the rest of his family. 

I graduated with Horace, as we knew him then, in 1968 in Ark City, KS. Horace always had a smile on his face. I am sure he is smiling at all of his '68 classmates in heaven and bringing them joy.  My sincere sympathy to his family.

Horace as I knew him was a classmate of mine at Arkansas City, Ks. high school in the late 60’s. I remember him as a quiet and kind person. May his beautiful soul Rest In Peace and may his loved ones find comfort in their memories of him.
