Mrs. Gwendolyn Faye Jones, age 73, of Memphis, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2023. She was a loving and devoted wife to Mr Irvin Jones and a wonderful mother to her only child Angelia Thompson. She was a longtime member of Cummings Street Baptist Church where she faithfully served God.
Mrs. Gwendolyn Jones was employed with the Veterans Administration Hospital as a Food Services
Supervisor for over twenty-one years. In the past, she served as a Leadership Team Member with Chick-fil-A for over eight years.
A visitation for Mrs. Gwendolyn Jones is scheduled for Sunday, November 19, 2023 from 12 Noon to 2:00 p.m., with the funeral following at 2:00 p.m., both at M. J. Edwards Funeral Home, 1165 Airways Blvd., Memphis, TN 38114 The interment will take place on Monday, November 20, 2023 at 11:00 a.m., Memorial Park South Woods, 5485 Hacks Cross Road., Memphis, TN 38125.
