Gary Wayne Lawrence

Gary Wayne Lawrence, age 70, of Memphis, Tennessee passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022. He was born in Memphis, TN on June 20, 1952. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl William and Martha Ann Lawrence; his brother, Stephen William Lawrence and his daughter, Brooke Lawrence.

Gary went to school in Bartlett, TN, but later graduated from State Technical Institute in Memphis. He worked as an electrical engineer at Sperry Flight Systems and Honeywell and he served in the United States Army.

Gary is survived by his brothers, Timothy and Jason Lawrence.

A Celebration of Gary's Life will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 6pm until 9pm at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Avenue, Memphis, TN 38122. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 7, 2022 at West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery located on 4000 Forest Hill Irene Rd, Memphis, TN 38125.

The family request memorials be given to American Heart and Lung Association in memory of Gary Wayne Lawrence.
