I met Eric in 1984. I was a courier and I saved him from getting a speeding ticket on Union Extended one afternoon. He was so thankful that I warned him about the speed trap as we descended the over path.  After that, we became friends. We didn't talk everyday, but like clockwork, I'd wonder where  he was, and the phone would ring and it would be Eric calling me from wherever he was to brighten my day. Words cannot express the emptiness I feel, knowing that I will not hear his voice again. He was so giving and genuine. He was so even keeled, I never heard him raise his voice. He was so, so worldly, we could have a conversation about the most remote subjects. My prayers and blessings too and for his wife and his family.

My condolences to  Margo, Mrs. Shirley, Angie,and his son may God give you all strength and comfort. I'm so sorry for your loss. ERIC    was a legend in the Riverside community and a caring man. We  were classmates from elementary school  to high School  friends in the neighborhood as well. Eric will be missed. Much love always to the family. From Miranda P.
