Dorothy Maxine Lee, age 90, of Bartlett, Tennessee passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022. Dorothy was born in Ethel, MS on May 19, 1932. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Lee, Sr.; her parents, Noble Felix and Annie Lucille Black; her son, Bill Lee, Jr.; her siblings, Myrtis Morris, W.P. Black and James Black.
Dorothy enjoyed sewing, cooking/baking, puzzles, card games and writing.
She is survived by her children, John (Susan) Lee, Terry (Samantha) Lee, and Elizabeth Ann Lee; her brother, Charles Back; her sister, Frances Moore; her grandchildren, Neil Lee, David Spickard, Kristy Scallorn, Michelle Hollie and Terry Lee, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Nathaniel Farmer, Brandon Scallorn and Brady Scallorn.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 25, 2022 from 1PM until 2PM with the celebration of life services to follow at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, 3787 Pleasant Hill Rd, Olive Branch, MS 38654. The interment will be held at Memorial Park Southwoods, 5485 Hacks Cross Rd, Memphis, TN 38125 following the service.
In lieu of flowers, family request donations be made in Dorothy's honor to a charity of your choice.
