Dorothy Griffin

Dorothy Loftin Griffin, 82, retired owner of Griffin Carpets, passed December 21, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her family in Olive Branch, MS. Services will be held at Family Funeral Care in Memphis, TN on December 27 at 2:00PM, and family will begin receiving guests at 1:00PM, with burial to follow at Memorial Gardens.

Dorothy leaves behind two daughters, Beth Tucker (Travis) of Booneville, MS, and Gail Ross (Lent) of Olive Branch, MS; two sisters, Sara Loftin of Gastonia, NC, and Diane Henderson of Lexington, NC; four grandchildren, Justin Simmons (Brandy), Kacie Lawman (Tim), Julie Gladish (Bret), and Stephanie Ross; and five great grandchildren, Brendan, Brady, Charley, Palmer, and Hartley.

She is preceded in death by her husband Bobby Griffin, a sister, Martha Hartsell, and her parents, Ellen and Daniel Loftin.

The family requests any memorials be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Southern Reins Center for Equine Therapy.
