Donald J. Smith, 78 passed away peacefully Saturday, September 10th, 2016. Don was born in New Orleans, LA and grew up in Dallas, TX. He was employed at Federal Express for 25 years and proudly served in the U.S. Army.
He ia survived by his wife of 51 years, Billie C. Smith, his daughter, Sandra Cramer Nims, his grandchildren Carson & Sydney of Atlanta, GA, his brother, Barry Smith and his sister Debbie Chapman of Texas.
Don enjoyed listening to good music, attending sporting events, splurging on Mom’s desserts but most of all he enjoyed being with his family.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, September 13th at Memphis Funeral Home with a graveside to follow in New Albany, MS.
