Dinah Estrada Townsend, 64, passed away on Tuesday, April 27th, 2021. She was born in New Orleans on January 13th, 1957 to Alice Estrada and Joseph Estrada, Sr. She married her soul mate on June 19th, 1987, she gained a daughter , and then on December 21th, 1989 her twin daughters were born. She loved her family, family was everything to her. In the years prior to her passing, she got to see the Saints play the Falcons at the Superdome in New Orleans with her husband. She loved her animals Luna, Tiger, Buster, especially her Grandpups Butters, Lily, Crook Shanks, Remus, and Waffles. She was an avid Saints fan, animal lover, Reiki Master, and LSU fan. Dinah loved the beach and traveling with her husband. She loved her kids and animals. Dinah personified what it means to be beautiful. The beauty in how she lived her life to the fullest. To know Dinah is to love her. She will be very much missed and she will always shine on. She was preceded in death by her mom, Alice Estrada; and dad, Joseph Estrada, Sr.; sister, Helen Estrada Watson; and brother, Joseph Estrada, Jr. She is survived by husband, Richard “Rickey” Townsend; daughters, Taylor Townsend Bohl (Jordan Bohl), Kara Townsend Sullivan (Sean Sullivan), and Charity Townsend Caldwell; grandchildren, Cameron Caldwell, Grandpups and Cat, Butters Worth, Lily, Remus, Waffles, and Crook Shanks; and brother, Gary Estrada.
