Della “Rita” Eason Sexton, 92, of Memphis, formerly of Ripley, TN. passed away on Tuesday, June 30th 2015. She was preceded in death by her two previous husbands, Lester Eason and Troy Sexton, step-children, Linda and Billy Eason, siblings, Auzie Craig, Hiram Craig and Jadie Craig, and parents, Woodford and Mai Craig. Mrs. Sexton is survived by her grandson Billy Joe Eason, Jr., sister, Estelle Harrison of Bartlett, TN., Billy Joe Craig, Sr. of Ripley, TN., and two special nieces, Rita Sue Pass of Bartlett, TN. and Nancy Leem of Covington, TN. Della worked at Sears for 41 years. She was also a member at Walnut Grove Baptist Church. The family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, July 2nd from 5-8pm at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Ave. Memphis Tn. They will also have visitation on Friday from 10am until 12pm at Walnut Grove Baptist Church, 1309 Walnut Grove Rd. Ripley TN. The funeral will start at 12pm. The burial will follow at the church’s cemetery.
