Deborah Kay Shelley Bosi, 63, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2020. Debbie was a Wife, Mother, and Mawmaw. She loved her family fiercely and treasured every moment with them. She was preceded in death by her precious son, Anthony Cothran; parents, Earl and Mae Shelley; and son in law, Dan Nowell.
She is survived by her loving family who took care of her, her devoted husband, William Bosi; her daughter, Cyndi Nowell Ungren; her son in law, John Ungren; and her beloved grandson, Nathan Nowell. She is also survived by her sister, Susan Stewart; and her brother, Michael Shelley; her sister by heart and cousin, Brenda Powell and the girls close to her heart Lindsey and Audrey Murchison.
Her passion and calling in life was loving people. She was another Mom and Mawmaw to so many over the years. She always said, “I might could change the world by making a difference in the life of a child”. To see her with children was about as close as you can get to seeing an angel in human form.
She was a lady of strong faith and we know she is at peace with her Lord and her son Anthony, son in law Dan, and her parents. The last few years of her life were full of many challenges and through everything she loved to laugh and sing her hymns. That’s how she would want to be remembered.
Any memorials can be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Leawood Baptist Church.
MASK WILL BE REQUIRED. Temperatures will be checked at the door. The service will be streamed on Facebook, so please feel free to stay home and watch it. We know you will be with us in spirit.
