Dabney Blaine Lee was born December 10, 1958 in Marshall, TX to Robbie Edmond and Charles Dabney Lee. He was raised in Newark, NJ with his 5 sisters and 2 brothers. After graduation from Malcolm X Shabazz HS, Dabney joined the US Marine Corps and served his country honorably for over 20 years. After retirement, Dabney and his wife Jan remained in the Memphis, TN area. He served his community through his work as an IT trainer and LAN administrator for several organizations. Dabney passed away August 15, 2020. His loss will be mourned by his wife, Jan Breeden-Lee; his children, Blaine Edmund Lee and Shonneice Knight; his sisters and brothers, Aundra Mays, Juan Lee, Susan Lee, Lorya Jones, Bernadine Lee, Alfreda Mitchell and, Edward Lee; as well as his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. We are all grateful for every kind word, thoughtful deed and, heartfelt prayer received during this time of grief. For all that knew and loved Dabney, always know the truth of his love for you.
