Charlene was a member of Holy Rosary Church and retiree from Baptist Memorial Hospital. Always a kind and giving soul, she was a bright light and anchor of love for all who knew her. Her kindness, warmth and open heart made her a treasure among friends, acquaintances and most especially her beloved family who were her biggest source of happiness. Charlene was “Momma” to her kids and “Maw Maw” to her grandkids and now she will be our Blessed Guardian Angel in Heaven. God welcomes you with open arms. We carry your love in our hearts with us and we know you will always be with us in spirit.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Johnny M. Mazzone and her daughter, Theresa Rose Newpoff.

A visitation for Charlene will be held Thursday, July 21, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119. The funeral mass will occur Friday, July 22, 2022 at 10:00 AM, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 4851 Park Avenue, Memphis, TN 38117. Interment will immediately follow in Calvary Cemetery.
