Brandon is survived by his parents; Karen Russom (Travis) and Lee Hastings; his sister, Jami Carranza (Jeorge); and his niece, Dallas. He is predeceased by his grandmothers; Nadine Lakey and Jean Davis-Hastings; his grandfathers; Norman Lakey and Jack Hastings.
Brandon was born on January 14, 1983. He attended White Station High School and was recently working toward a degree in Engineering, with the hope of completion at the University of Memphis. In his free time, Brandon enjoyed the finer things in life, such as, horror films, sushi and kick-flips. He was an avid skateboarder and enjoyed reading. His book collection ranged anywhere from comic books to Physics, if knowledge could be gained, Brandon was interested. He always loved to learn. He loved his friends and was always willing to offer his hand. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
The family will receive friends on Friday March 5, from 5-7 p.m. at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee 38122.
